Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus S.Aleinik meets the CIS Secretary General

On April 11, 2024 during the preparation for the meeting of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States, the Minister, Sergei Aleinik, met with the CIS Secretary General, Sergei Lebedev.

During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed the preparations for the CIS CMFA meeting, the agenda of the meeting and other working aspects of the forthcoming event.

S.Aleinik stressed the special importance attached by the Republic of Belarus to the development of cooperation with the CIS member states and the strengthening of the institutional framework of the Commonwealth, the expansion of sectoral cooperation between our countries under the auspices of the CIS Executive Committee, first of all, in the economic sphere.
