Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus V.Makei participates in 71st session of the UN General Assembly

On September 19-23 2016, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Vladimir Makei, is on a visit to New-York to participate in the 71st session of the UN General Assembly.
The Foreign Minister is taking part in the High Level Meeting of the General Assembly of the UN on the issue of migrants and refugees, high-level event on the implementation of sustainable development goals related to water, Ministerial meeting of the group of supporters of middle-income, high-level event “Resolution of the crisis: strengthening OSCE capabilities as an organization under chapter VIII of the UN Charter”, in the meeting of foreign ministers in support of the Comprehensive nuclear test Ban Treaty.
V.Makei will also hold a series of meetings with the leadership of the United Nations and heads of delegations of the UN member states.
