Consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and Estonia

On April 17, 2019 the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus hosted the Belarusian-Estonian ministerial consultations on economic issues.
The Belarusian delegation was headed by the Deputy Foreign Minister, Oleg Kravchenko, the Estonian delegation was led by the Undersecretary for Economy and Development Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Andres Rundu.
During the consultations, the parties discussed issues of mutual interest, both of the Belarusian-Estonian bilateral economic cooperation and the relations of Belarus with EU, EAEU, accession process to WTO.
Particular emphasis was made on certain aspects of international trade and investment cooperation, the areas of information technology, light industry, woodworking and innovation. The prospects for the implementation of joint projects with the participation of the Estonian Center of the Eastern Partnership were considered.
