Head of the European Cooperation Department of the MFA of Belarus A.Bushilo visits Strasbourg

On April 26-28, 2017 the Head of the European Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Andrei Bushilo, visited Strasbourg (France).
A.Bushilo participated in the meeting of the national coordinators of the European Union and the Council of Europe joint project “Framework for Program Cooperation”, during which the parties discussed the results and plans for cooperation between Eastern Partnership countries, including Belarus, and the Council of Europe for 2017-2018.
The representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus met with the Director of the Office of the Directorate General of Programmes, Verena Taylor, the Head of the Directorate of Political Affairs of the Council of Europe, Alexander Hessel, representatives of the secretariats of the Parliamentary Assembly and the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe. The state and possible additional areas of cooperation between Belarus and the Council of Europe were discussed.
