Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus V.Makei meets the Ambassador of China

On March 20, 2019 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Vladimir Makei, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Belarus, Cui Qiming.
During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed the current state and prospects of development of Belarusian-Chinese relations.
The parties discussed the forthcoming meeting of the leaders of the two countries planned for April on the margins of the Second International Belt and Road Forum.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs underlined the importance of the participation of the Chinese Government delegation in the events of the Belt and Road Initiative Forum on Chinese-Belarusian cooperation and regional development, which will be held in the Industrial Park “Great Stone” in July this year.
The sides agreed on organizing an excursion for the heads of diplomatic missions to the Industrial Park “The Great Stone” in April this year.
