On the Participation of the Belarusian Delegation in the General Assembly of the World Tourism Organization

On August 24 – 29, 2013 the 20th session of the World Tourism Organization General Assembly is taking place in Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe) and Livingstone (Zambia). The Belarusian delegation headed by Mr.Andrei Molchan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to the Republic of South Africa, takes part in the event.
Mr.Andrei Molchan took part in the opening ceremony of the UNWTO General Assembly and made a speech during the round table on ministerial level. In the speech, the Ambassador of Belarus emphasized the prospects of Belarus’ inbound tourism and visa formalities facilitation.
Within the forum the Ambassador is planning to meet with the UNWTO Secretary General Mr.Taleb Rifai, the heads of a number of delegations, as well as take part in the plenary sessions of the General Assembly.
