Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus S.Aleinik attended the mourning ceremony in honour of the tragically deceased President of Iran

On May 22, 2024 on the instructions of the President of Belarus, the Foreign Minister, Sergei Aleinik, took part in an official mourning ceremony in Tehran to commemorate the tragic deaths of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi, the Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir Abdollahian, and their companions.
During a brief conversation with the Vice President, Mohsen Mansouri, the Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration for Political Affairs, Mohammad Jamshidi, and the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ali Bagheri Kani, conveyed condolences on behalf of the President of Belarus and the Belarusian people. They expressed words of solidarity and confidence that the Iranian people will pass the ordeal with honour.
The Iranian side expressed gratitude to the President of Belarus for support and unwavering commitment to the development of bilateral relations.
