Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus V.Rybakov meets the former President of the UN General Assembly

On September 28, 2016 the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Valentin Rybakov, participated in the presentation of the book by the former Head of the UN General Assembly, Srgjan Kerim, “Globalization and Diplomacy. In Search of a Better World” and had a short conversation with the author.

V.Rybakov and S.Kerim discussed the process of selection of the UN Secretary General and some issues on the UN agenda.

Background Information: Srgjan Kerim held posts of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Macedonia and the President of the UN General Assembly. Now he is one of the candidates for the post of a new UN Secretary General. Appointment of the UN Secretary-General is expected by the end of 2016.
