Ambassador of Belarus S.Rachkov visits Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate

On June 1, 2016 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Sergei Rachkov, visited the Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate, Egypt.

As part of the visit Ambassador held a meeting with the Governor of Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate, Al-Sayed Nasr.

During the meetings, the sides discussed trade, economic and humanitarian cooperation between Republic of Belarus and Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate. Due to the agricultural specialization of the governorate, opportunities in supply of Belarusian agricultural machinery and establishment of joint assembly plants of agricultural machinery were presented.

Governor Al-Sayed Nasr expressed interest in establishing direct cooperation with one of the regions of the Republic of Belarus and signing of a memorandum of cooperation.

Ambassador of Belarus Sergei Rachkov also met with the President of Kafrelsheikh University, Maged El-Kemary. Head of the Belarusian National Technical University, Boris Khroustalev, attended the meeting. The sides discussed implementation of agreement on cooperation between the Belarusian National Technical University, Tabbin Institute for Metallurgical Studies and Kafrelsheikh University.
