Sixth session of the Belarusian-Bulgarian Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation and business forum

On June 1-2, 2016 Burgas (Bulgaria) hosted the sixth session of the Belarusian-Bulgarian Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation.

The Belarusian delegation was headed by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Alena Kupchyna, Bulgarian delegation was led by the Deputy Minister of Economy, Daniela Vezieva.

At the meeting, the sides discussed a wide range of issues, including cooperation in the areas of industry, agriculture, investment, science, transport, tourism, education and interregional cooperation etc.

After the session, the parties signed the Final Protocol.

The sides positively assessed the results of the session, noted the significant intensification and regularity of bilateral contacts at all levels, as well as the great potential for the development of the Belarusian-Bulgarian relations in all areas of cooperation.

Within the framework of the Committee, the Belarus-Bulgaria Business Forum was held. The Forum was attended by the representatives of Belarus and Bulgaria business circles.

During the business forum, the Belarusian side organized the presentation of export and investment potential of the Republic of Belarus.

Under the auspices of the Intergovernmental Committee, the delegation of the Gomel region visited Burgas region.
