Ambassador of Belarus A.Kupchyna presents Credentials to the President of Croatia

On March 27, 2017 in Zagreb, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Austria and the Republic of Croatia non-resident, Alena Kupchyna, presented Credentials to the President of Croatia, Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic.

During the meeting, the sides discussed current state and prospects for development of the Belarusian-Croatian cooperation, including in the context of celebration of the 25th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Belarus and Croatia, as well as a number of topical issues on the international and regional agenda.

In the course of the visit to Zagreb, A.Kupchyna met with the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of Croatia, Zdravko Buzić, the Assistant Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Croatia, Gordan Bakota.

The sides discussed current issues of the Belarusian-Croatian relations in various fields, cooperation of Belarus with the European Union, development of cooperation with OSCE.

A.Kupchyna stressed the readiness of the Belarusian side to expand and deepen cooperation with Croatia, intensify dialogue with the EU, and emphasized the contribution of our country to ensuring of regional security and stability.
