Belarus-Poland Intergovernmental Coordination Committee on Transboundary Cooperation

On September 29, 2016 Minsk hosted the 11th session of Belarus-Poland Intergovernmental Coordination Committee on Transboundary Cooperation.
The Belarusian part of the Committee is headed by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Evgeny Shestakov, the Polish side is led by the State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration, Jakub Skiba.
In the course of the session, the parties discussed current issues and perspectives for the cooperation of branch institutions and local authorities of Belarus and Poland in transboundary field, the development of legal framework of the bilateral cooperation in the above sphere, as well as the implementation of common projects on the modernization of boundary infrastructure.
Following the results of the session, the sides signed the Protocol of the meeting of the Belarus-Poland Intergovernmental Coordination Committee on Transboundary Cooperation.
