Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Alena Kupchyna visits Slovenia

On November 18 – 20, 2015 Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Alena Kupchyna visits Slovenia.

On the first day of the visit A.Kupchyna met with the head of the Center for Analysis and Strategic Studies of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia Dr. Stanislav Raščan, and also with the management of the Slovenian Centre for European perspectives. The main topics of discussion were the issues of expansion of the Belarusian-Slovenian cooperation, development of the dialogue Belarus — the European Union, the implementation of joint projects in the field of analytical activities.

Deputy Minister visited the Faculty of Economics of the University of Ljubljana, where she met with its administration and students. The parties have agreed on the development of contacts between economic universities of Belarus and Slovenia. In the near future will be signed an Agreement on cooperation and partnership between the Institute of Business and Management of Technology of Belarusian State University and the Faculty of Economics of the University of Ljubljana.

On November 19, Alena Kupchyna participates in the 17th Portorozh business conference, one of the main topics is the prospects of trade, economic and investment cooperation with Belarus.
