Consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and Turkey

On March 28, 2017 Ankara hosted consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and Turkey.

The Belarusian delegation was headed by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Oleg Kravchenko, the Turkish delegation was led by the Deputy Undersecretary, Ümit Yardım.

The parties considered current state and prospects for the evelopment of bilateral relations, including political dialogue, trade and economic cooperation, interaction in the humanitarian sphere, development of the legal framework. The participants discussed current issues of the international agenda.

Oleg Kravchenko also met with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, Ahmet Yıldız.

While visiting Ankara, O.Kravchenko held talks with the Deputy Minister of Economy of Turkey, Fatih Metin.

The parties discussed the development of cooperation between Belarus and Turkey in the economic and investment spheres, as well as preparations for the 9th session of the Belarus-Turkey Joint Intergovernmental Commission to be held in Minsk in June 2017.
