Ambassador of Belarus S.Rachkov meets the Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation of Egypt

On June 26, 2016 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Sergei Rachkov, met with the Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation of Egypt, Mohamed Abdel Aty.

During the meeting, the sides discussed promising areas of bilateral cooperation in the field of water resources, including the possibility of participation of Belarusian companies in implementation of national projects on irrigation and land reclamation in Egypt, as well as joint research in the field of water resources.

The parties agreed to establish direct cooperation between the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation of Egypt and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of Belarus, including the exchange of visits of the Heads of the Ministries.
