Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus O.Kravchenko participates in the 9th round of Informal Ministerial Dialogues of the Eastern Partnership

On July 10, 2017 Chisinau, Moldova hosted the 9th round of Informal Ministerial Dialogues of the Eastern Partnership (EaP).

At the invitation of the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova, Andrei Galbur, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Oleg Kravchenko, took part in the Foreign Ministers’ meeting of the EaP countries.

In his statement at the plenary session, O.Kravchenko presented Belarusian vision of the perspectives of multilateral cooperation within the Eastern Partnership, including in the light of the upcoming EaP Summit in Brussels.

In particular, the Head of the Belarusian delegation emphasized the need for intensification of project activities within the Eastern Partnership, easing EU market access for all six partner countries, development of interaction between the EU and Eurasian Economic Union, promotion of cooperation in the sphere of transport and logistics involving the EU, EaP and third countries.

O.Kravchenko also took part in a separate meeting of Heads of delegations of the EaP countries, the European Commission and the European External Action Service. The situation in the Middle East, as well as the issues of maintaining regional security in Europe was discussed at the meeting.
