Vatican Secretary of State Pietro Parolin to visit Belarus

On March 12–15, 2015 at the invitation of the Belarusian side Vatican Secretary of State Pietro Parolin will pay an official visit to the Republic of Belarus.

The visit is arranged as a result of the agreements reached with the Holy See in the framework of the development of interstate Belarus-Vatican relations.

Talks between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Vladimir Makei and Vatican Secretary of State will take place.

The program of the visit also envisages a number of meetings with Belarusian officials, leadership of the Catholic and Orthodox churches, participation in the ceremony of the memorable capsule laying at the construction site of the new building of the Vatican diplomatic mission – Apostolic Nunciature.
