Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus V.Makei meets the acting Secretary General – Head of the Secretariat of the Council of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the CIS Member States

On January 22, 2018 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Vladimir Makei held a meeting with the acting Secretary General – Head of the Secretariat of the Council of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the CIS Member States Sergey Antufiev.

During the meeting, issues of integration within the framework of the CIS as well as certain aspects of adaptation of the CIS to the actual conditions were discussed.

The parties confirmed the importance of the parliamentary dimension in the integration relations, discussed the objectives of implementing the decision of the Council of the CIS Heads of State on elaboration the practice of the Interparliamentary Assembly, adopted in October 2017 in Sochi.
