Ambassador of Belarus A.Guryanov visits Malta

On January 18 – 19, 2017 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Italian Republic and Republic of Malta non-resident, Aleksandr Guryanov, visited Malta.
During the visit, the Ambassador of Belarus met with the Prime Minister of Malta, Joseph Muscat. The Head of the Maltese Government expressed his support of further progressive development and promotion of bilateral relations with Belarus. The sides discussed strengthening of trade and economic cooperation, facilitation of joint activities, dedicated to the 25th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
Ambassador of Belarus also met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malta, George Vella.
In the course of the meeting, the parties discussed current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation, interaction within the multilateral framework, including Belarus–EU collaboration, taking into consideration Malta Presidency of the EU.
