On October 30, 2018, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Vladimir Makei, met with the American delegation headed by the Assistant Secretary of State of the United States of America, Wess Mitchell.
The parties discussed current state of relations between Belarus and the United States, as well as ways of their development in various areas of bilateral cooperation in short and medium terms.
The parties also reviewed topical issues of international agenda, situation in the region, possibilities for bilateral cooperation in de-escalating tensions in the European region.
