Ambassador of Belarus S.Terentiev meets the Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs of Egypt

On September 17, 2024 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Sergei Terentiev, met with the Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt for International and Regional Multilateral Economic Affairs, Ragui El-Etreby.

The sides exchanged views on the prospects of BRICS development. The parties discussed opportunities for expanding Belarusian-Egyptian cooperation within the framework of participation in the BRICS initiatives.

The sides noted the similarity of the positions of Belarus and Egypt regarding the role of the organization in strengthening the multipolar world order and building a new economic system.
