Consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and China

On March 26, 2015 the first consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China on multilateral cooperation were held in Beijing.

The Belarusian delegation was led by the Head of Global Policy and Humanitarian Cooperation Department, Deputy Director of Directorate-General on Multilateral Diplomacy Vadim Pisarevich, the Chinese delegation - by Deputy Director General of Department of International Organizations and Conferences Shi Zhongjun.

The sides stressed the strategic nature as well as the high and confidential level of the Belarusian-Chinese relations.

The consultations focused on the initiatives and priorities of the two countries in the UN and its organizations, human rights issues, elections to the UN structures and the UN development agenda for the post 2015 period.

The delegations agreed to interface actively in all spheres of international collaboration.
