Ambassador of Belarus S.Rachkov meets the Minister of Tourism of Egypt

On December 19, 2017 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Sergei Rachkov, met with the Minister of Tourism of Egypt, Yahya Rashid.
During the meeting the sides discussed the state and prospects for the Belarusian-Egyptian cooperation in the sphere of tourism. The parties positively noted a significant increase in the number of Belarusian tourists who visited Egypt in 2017, as well as the growing interest of Egyptian businessmen to invest in the tourist sector of Belarus, in particular, in agroecotourism.
Special attention was paid to the issue of adding the Republic of Belarus to the list of countries whose citizens have the right to apply for e-visa for entry Egypt with tourist purposes.
The Parties agreed to facilitate the tourist flows to Belarus and to Egypt, as well as to support each other within the framework of international organizations.
