Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs O.Kravchenko takes part in the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum

On October 26, 2017 the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Oleg Kravchenko, took part in the Annual Conference of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum (EaP CSF) and 9th Annual Assembly of the EaP CSF held in Tallinn under the aegis of the Estonian Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

During the meeting, O.Kravchenko delivered a speech at the panel “Addressing Civil Society Expectations from the EaP Summit and EaP Deliverables by 2020”. The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs mentioned progress in the political dialogue between Belarus and the EU and presented the Belarusian vision of the key spheres and priorities of Belarus-EU cooperation, ways of increasing the efficiency of the EaP and Belarus’ expectations from the upcoming EaP Summit in Brussels in November 2017. 

At the margins of the event, O.Kravchenko held a number of meetings with the representatives of the European structures, EU member states and partner countries.

At a separate panel, the Director for European Cooperation of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry, Andrei Bushilo, outlined the guidelines followed by the Belarusian side in negotiating Belarus-EU partnership priorities. The representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs answered a number of questions on prospects for cooperation with the European structures.
