Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Е.Shestakov meets the Special Co-ordinator of the OSCE short-term observer mission, Vice-President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly

On August 15, 2016 the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Evgeny Shestakov, met with the Special Co-ordinator of the Organzation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) short-term observer mission, Vice-President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, Kent Härstedt.
During the meeting, the parties discussed a number of issues which concern the current electoral campaign in the Republic of Belarus and organization of international observation, including by the international parliamentary structures.
The Belarusian side confirmed its' adherence to conducting a transparent and fair election in line with national legislation and international commitments of the country, and assured of its readiness to create all necessary conditions for the full-fledged work of international observers.
