Consultations between the Foreign Ministries of Belarus and France

On June 17, 2016, Minsk hosted consultations between the Foreign Ministries of Belarus and France. The Belarusian delegation was headed by the Head of the Department of Europe of the MFA, Evgeny Vorobyev, the French delegation was led by the Director of the Department of Continental Europe of the MFA, Florence Mangin.
The Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus, Alena Kupchyna, also met with the delegation.
During the meeting, the parties focused on issues of bilateral relations, Belarus-EU interaction, as well as the cooperation in international organizations.
The sides paid special attention to trade and economic aspects of bilateral relations, examined ways of expanding legal framework of cooperation, as well as discussed a number of cultural events to be held in 2016.
