Ambassador of Belarus S.Rachkov meets the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Egypt

On May 30, 2016 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Sergei Rachkov, met with the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Egypt, Ashraf El-Sheihy.

During the meeting, the sides discussed promising directions of Belarusian-Egyptian cooperation in the field of higher education and science, noted an increase in number of Egyptian students coming to study in Belarus, as well as agreed to develop exchanges of students and lecturers within the framework of memorandums of understanding signed between Belarusian and Egyptian universities.

Ashraf El-Sheihy confirmed his readiness to visit Belarus together with the President of the Egyptian Academy of Scientific Research and Technology to study the Belarusian experience in the field of higher education, organization of scientific research and its implementation in Egypt.

Ambassador of Belarus S.Rachkov and Minister A.El-Sheihy attended the signing ceremony of the trilateral agreement on cooperation between the Belarusian National Technical University, Tabbin Institute for Metallurgical Studies and Kafrelsheikh University.
