Consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and UAE

On June 1, 2016 Abu-Dhabi hosted the second round of Consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates on consular issues.

The Belarusian delegation was led by the Head of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Igor Fisenko, the UAE delegation was  headed by the Assistant Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates for Consular Affairs.

The parties discussed the liberalization of mutual trips of citizens of both countries, protection of citizens in extreme circumstances, legal assistance and other issues of mutual interest.

The participants of consultations also exchanged views on the priorities in the visa and migration policy of the two countries.
