Foreign Minister of Belarus S.Aleinik meets the Representative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees

On February 14, 2023 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Sergei Aleinik, met with the newly appointed Representative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Belarus, Erol Arduc, on the occasion of the beginning of his work in Belarus.

During the meeting the parties discussed the current state and prospects of cooperation between Belarus and the UNHCR, as well as the status on refugees who arrived in Belarus from Ukraine.

S.Aleinik noted that Belarus is interested in further active cooperation with the UNHCR on the entire range of issues within the mandate of this important UN agency.
