Ambassador of Belarus A.Savinykh visits Iraq

On March 26, 2018 during the visit to Iraq, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Turkey and Iraq non-resident, Andrei Savinykh, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Iraq, Ibrahim al-Jaafari. During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for development of the Belarusian-Iraqi cooperation, as well as the internal political situation in Iraq.
A.Savinykh met with the Minister of Health of Iraq, Adil Khussein Al-Abudi, during which the sides discussed the implementation of joint projects in the field of public health and further intensification of the supply of pharmaceutical products to the Iraqi market.
Within the framework of participation in the round table with the leaders of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Baghdad and Karbala, the Ambassador of Belarus informed about the export opportunities of our country in the context of the upcoming visits of representatives of the business circles of Iraq to Belarus.
