Ambassador of Belarus I.Leshchenya meets the State Secretary of the Ministry of Economy of Slovakia

On August 18, 2016 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Slovak Republic, Igor Leshchenya, held a meeting with the State Secretary of the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic, Co-Chairman of the Belarusian-Slovakian Joint Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technological Cooperation, Rastislav Chovanec.
The parties discussed the current situation and perspectives of the economic cooperation between Belarus and Slovakia. The sides noted that some common measures are required to raise the volume of mutual trade, as well as to increase the number of the realized joint projects.
The participants of the meeting stressed that the actual Joint Commission was an effective tool for promoting further development of contacts between ministries, other governmental organizations, chambers of commerce and industry, business associations, enterprises and businessmen of both countries.
