Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus V.Makei meets the Director of Pure Energy LLC

On September 7, 2016 the Minister of Foreign of the Republic of Belarus, Vladimir Makei, met with the Director of Pure Energy LLC, Torsten Merkel.

Background Information: The Irish investor implements a number of projects related to renewable energy in Belarus, including the construction of a 109 MW photoelectric station in Cherikov District, Mogilev Region, to generate electricity. The amount of investments is up to 100 million Euros.

During the meeting, the sides discussed prospects for the development of renewable energy in Belarus.

T.Merkel briefed the Minister of Foreign Affairs on progress of the project implementation. The parties specified the timeline and volume of foreign direct investments disbursed under the projects run by the Irish investor to develop renewable energy in Belarus.
