Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus V.Makei meets the Ambassador of Sweden

On November 18, 2016 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Vladimir Makei, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Sweden to the Republic of Belarus, Martin Åberg.
During the meeting, the sides discussed promising areas of cooperation between Belarus and Sweden, Belarus – EU dialogue, as well as tangible issues on regional agenda.
V.Makei informed M.Åberg that Belarus has renewed its diplomatic presence in Sweden.
Background Information: On November 16, 2016 the Belarusian diplomat appointed as Chargé d'Affaires of the Republic of Belarus in Sweden arrived in Stockholm and took up his duties.
