Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus E.Shestakov visits Colombia

On November 16-17, 2018 the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Evgeny Shestakov, paid a working visit to Colombia.
During the visit, special attention was paid to the development of bilateral trade and economic cooperation. E.Shestakov held a number of meetings with the representatives of large Colombian business companies and discussed the prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of agricultural development of Colombia, supplies of petrochemical products, joint production of tobacco products, use of Belarusian experience and potential in the field of information technology in the implementation of relevant Belarusian-Colombian projects.
In the framework of official events, at the level of Deputy Foreign Ministers was signed the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Republic of Colombia on visa exemption for holders of diplomatic, official and service passports.
