Ambassador of Belarus A.Grinkevich meets the Minister of Transport of Romania

On September 12, 2018 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Romania, Andrei Grinkevich, met with the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Transport of Romania, Mircea Florin Biban.
During the meeting, A.Grinkevich presented potential of Belarus in the sphere of transport and logistics, as well as opportunities of the China-Belarus industrial park “Great Stone” as the key platform of the New Silk Road project.
The sides discussed concrete joint steps towards expansion of bilateral cooperation in transport, including interaction in the frames of the Belarusian-Romanian Intergovernmental Agreement on International Automobile Passenger and Cargo Traffic as well as realization of the “Viking” combine transport project, which connects Europe, Asia, Baltic and Scandinavian states, and perspectives for establishing direct flight between the countries.
