Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus E.Shestakov visits Chile

On November 21, 2016 during the visit to Chile the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Evgeny Shestakov, met with the Sub-Secretary (Deputy Minister) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Chile, Edgardo Riveros.

During the Consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and Chile, the parties discussed the whole range of current issues of bilateral relations, including the facilitation of visits at different levels, the current state and prospects for trade and economic relations, the development of the legal base, inter-parliamentary relations, as well as the cooperation within international organizations. The sides also considered some international issues of mutual interest.

Following the results of the meeting, the parties signed an Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Republic of Chile on mutual visa-free visits for holders of diplomatic, service and official passports and the Memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Chile on bilateral consultations.
