Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus S.Aleinik meets the President of Algeria

On April 14, 2024 within the framework of the official visit to Algeria, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, Sergei Aleinik, was received by the President, Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
During the meeting, the Algerian Head of State received a message from President of the Republic of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, with specific proposals on the development of bilateral cooperation.
The parties noted the constructive nature of the Belarusian-Algerian relations and the convergence of the two countries' positions on the majority of topical international issues, including the recognition of the diversity of ways of development of independent states.
A number of topics of bilateral cooperation and projects of industrial and technical cooperation were discussed.
Special attention was paid to the problems of cooperation in the spheres of education, science, technology, health care and tourism.
The need to further intensification of the whole range of contacts, including exchanges of visits at the high- and highest level, was particularly emphasised.
