Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus A.Kupchyna pays a working visit to France

On May 27, 2016 in the course of the working visit to France, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Alena Kupchyna, met with the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the French Republic, Christian Masset.

During the meeting, the sides discussed prospects for intensification of Belarusian-French cooperation. A special attention was paid to the development of bilateral economic cooperation and strengthening of relations in the humanitarian sphere.

The parties reached an agreement on the establishment of the Belarusian-French working group on cooperation in the tourism sector.  The first meeting of the group is scheduled for the second half of 2016.

A.Kupchyna and C.Masset discussed the development of cooperation between Belarus and the EU.

During the visit to France, A.Kupchyna held a meeting with the Head of the Group of Friendship “France-Belarus” in the National Assembly of France, Nicolas Dhuicq.

A.Kupchyna and N.Dhuicq discussed approaches to the development of the Belarusian-French inter-parliamentary cooperation, including the issues of preparation for the visit of the delegation of French MPs to Belarus.
