Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus V.Makei meets the OSCE/ODIHR and OSCE PA Delegation

On December 22, 2016 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, Vladimir Makei, met with the Delegation of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) and Organization’s Parliamentary Assembly (PA). The delegation included the Head of the OSCE/ODIHR Election Observation Mission, Caetana de Zulueta Owtram, the Special Co-ordinator and Leader of the Short-Term OSCE Observer Mission to the Parliamentary Elections, OSCE PA Vice-President, Kent Härstedt, and a number of experts.
During the meeting the parties discussed the conclusions and recommendations contained in the Final Report of the OSCE observation mission to the Parliamentary Elections in Belarus.
V.Makei noted the high level of interaction between Belarus and the OSCE/ODIHR and OSCE PA reached over the past few years and confirmed the readiness of the Belarusian side to continue a constructive dialogue and cooperation with the OSCE institutions on electoral and other issues.
