Ambassador of Belarus V.Goshin visits Lao Cai Province

On October 13-15, 2016 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Vladimir Goshin, visited Lao Cai Province, Vietnam.

During the visit the Head of the Belarusian diplomatic mission held a meeting with the Chairman of People`s Committee of Lao Cai Province, Mr. Dang Xuan Phong, and representatives of business community. The sides discussed prospects for strengthening trade, economic, scientific, and humanitarian cooperation between Belarus and the Vietnamese Province.

Presentation of the Belarusian industrial and trade potential was made in the light of a free trade zone established between the Eurasian Economic Union and Vietnam from October 5, 2016 onwards. Agreement on drafting an inter-regional treaty on friendly relations and cooperation between Lao Cai Province and one of the regions of Belarus was reached.

During the meeting in a large state «Vietnam Apatite Limited Company», the issues of supply increase of the Belarusian mining trucks and tires were discussed. Special attention was paid to arrangements of the direct shipments of the Vietnamese tea and spices.
