On the Opening of Belarus Goods Shop in Riga

On August 1, 2013 Mr.Alexander Gerasimenko, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Latvia, took part in the opening ceremony of the new
Belarus goods shop in Riga within the retail chain “Belarus Trade Center”.

The representatives of Riga Duma, Latvian business circles and Belarusian Diaspora took part in the event.

The products of such Belarusian enterprises as “Svitanak”, “Marko”, “Orsha Linen Mill”, “Rechitsa Textile”, “Borisov Crystal Factory” and knitted-goods factories, “Motovelo”, “Atlant”, “Gefest” and other enterprises are presented in the trading center.

The Belarusian Trading Center has been functioning in Latvia since 2001. In 2012 the new shops were opened in Riga and Yelgava. More than 50 contracts
with Belarusian enterprises for the delivery of products were signed.
