Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus S.Aleinik meets the State Secretary of the Union State

On April 22, 2024 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Sergei Aleinik, met with the State Secretary of the Union State, Dmitry Mezentsev.
The parties exchanged views on the topical issues of Belarusian-Russian integration in the format of the Union State.
The sides discussed the issues of implementation of the decisions of the Supreme State Council made following the meeting held on January 29, 2024 in St.Petersburg, the forthcoming celebration of the 80th anniversary of Belarus' liberation from the Nazi invaders and the 25th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty on the Establishment of the Union State. Interaction with international organisations was also discussed.
Within the framework of the Union theme, the participants of the meeting discussed the schedule of the upcoming events of the Union State bodies in 2024, the establishment of the Union Media Company, participation in the Slavonic Bazaar and the Kupala Night ("Alexandria Gathers Friends").
