Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus V.Makei meets the Ambassador of Vietnam

On October 24, 2018 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Vladimir Makei, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to the Republic of Belarus, Pham Hai, on the occasion of the presentation of his copies of Credentials.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on issues of bilateral cooperation, discussed the prospects for the development of Belarusian-Vietnamese relations in the political, economic, humanitarian and other fields. Special attention was paid to the implementation of the agreements reached at the highest level during the visit of the President of Vietnam to Belarus in June 2017. The sides confirmed the importance of further expansion of industrial cooperation, including opening of joint ventures.
The parties underlined the importance to continue regular contacts between the foreign ministries, constructive interaction within international organizations, as well as further active dialogue between ministries and organizations of the two countries.
