Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus V.Makei meets the Special Coordinator of the OSCE short-term observers, Vice-President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly and the Head of the OSCE / ODIHR Election Observation Mission

On September 12, 2016 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Vladimir Makei, met with the Special Coordinator of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) short-term observers, Vice-President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, Kent Härstedt, and the Head of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) Election Observation Mission, Caetana de Zulueta Owtram.

In the course of the meeting, the sides discussed the preliminary outcomes of the OSCE Election Observation Mission’s work.

The parties agreed to continue cooperation between Belarus and the OSCE on electoral issues.
