Ambassador of Belarus Vladimir Skvortsov meets Minister of Immigrant Absorption of Israel

On September 1, 2015 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Israel Vladimir Skvortsov held a meeting with Minister of Immigrant Absorption of the State of Israel, Chairman of the Israeli part of the Joint Belarusian-Israeli Committee on Trade and Economic Cooperation Zeev Elkin.
The sides exchanged views on a wide range of issues of the bilateral agenda. It was emphasized that the implementation of the Intergovernmental Agreement on visa-free travel, which will come into force on November 26, 2015, will give a significant impetus to the development of the whole complex of relations between the two countries.
During the consideration of the issues of trade and economic cooperation the parties noted growth in bilateral trade in 2014-2015 and prospects of further expansion of bilateral turnover.
Interlocutors discussed preparations for the next session of the Joint Belarusian-Israeli Committee on Trade and Economic Cooperation, as well as joint actions to promote the project of creation of the Belarusian-Israeli Agro-Industrial Park on the territory of Belarus.
