Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Y.Ambrazevich meets the Head of the Secretariat of governing structures of the International Organization for Migration

On November 14, 2024 the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Yuri Ambrazevich, met with the Head of the Secretariat of governing structures of the International Organization for Migration,  Deyan Keserovich.

Y.Ambrazevich brought to the notice of the representative of the International Organization for Migration the main tasks and goals of the International Conference entitled “Measures taken in the Republic of Belarus to deal with irregular migration and good practices in furthering regional cooperation to solve this problem”, which is convened in Minsk on 15 November 2024.

The results of cooperation of the International Organization for Migration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other governing bodies of the Republic of Belarus for the last four years in the areas of combating irregular migration, rendering assistance to the migrants occurred themselves on the territory of Belarus in difficult life conditions, counteracting human trafficking were also discussed at the meeting.

The Parties have outlined plans for the further development of this cooperation, including through increased efforts on implementation of the international technical assistance projects.
