Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus V.Makei meets the Ambassador of Latvia

On July 29, 2019 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Vladimir Makei, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Latvia to the Republic of Belarus, Martins Virsis, on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission.

The Minister emphasized M.Virsis’s significant contribution to the development of Belarusian-Latvian relations, expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation in political, trade and economic, humanitarian, cultural spheres, as well as on border cooperation.

The state and prospects for bilateral cooperation were also discussed, including plans to organize joint high-level events in the nearest future.
