Ambassador of Belarus I.Paluyan meets the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ecuador

On June 3, 2016 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Ecuador, Igar Paluyan, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Human Mobility of Ecuador, Guillaume Long.

In the course of the meeting, the sides discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation in political, trade, economic, scientific, technical, educational and humanitarian spheres.
Special attention was paid to the deepening of the interstate dialogue at the highest and high levels, holding of the third session of the Belarusian-Ecuadorian Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation, as well as the participation of the Belarusian delegation at the UN Conference on Housing and Sustainable Urban Development Habitat III.
On behalf of the President and the Government of Ecuador, Minister G.Long expressed profound gratitude to the Government of Belarus for providing humanitarian aid to victims of the most destructive in the past 67 years earthquake.
