Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus A.Kupchyna meets the Head of the CIS Election Observation Mission

On August 5, 2016 the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Alena Kupchyna, met with the Head of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) Election Observation Mission, Chairman of the CIS Executive Committee – the CIS Executive Secretary, Sergei Lebedev.
The parties discussed the current electoral campaign in the Republic of Belarus, as well as a range of issues related to the international observation.
The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus confirmed the commitment of the Belarusian side to hold the election in the atmosphere of transparency and in line with the national legislation and international commitments.
A.Kupchyna also assured the CIS Executive Secretary that all necessary conditions for the work of international observers will be created.
