Ambassadors of Cambodia, Jordan, the Philippines, Colombia present copies of the Credentials to the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus E.Shestakov

On September 27, 2023 the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Evgeny Shestakov, received copies of Credentials of the Ambassadors of Cambodia, Jordan, the Philippines and Colombia to the Republic of Belarus non-resident.

During the meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Cambodia to the Republic of Belarus, Pichkhun Panha, the state of Belarusian-Cambodian relations and prospective areas of cooperation, primarily in the economic sphere, as well as the possibilities of holding joint events were discussed.

During the meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to the Republic of Belarus, Khaled Shawabkeh, the parties discussed topical issues of Belarusian-Jordanian relations, confirmed their mutual interest in intensifying bilateral contacts at various levels, including through the foreign ministries of the two countries. The sides discussed the implementation of joint projects in mining, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, food security, as well as the development of the legal framework.

The current state of Belarusian-Philippine cooperation was discussed with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Philippines to the Republic of Belarus, Igor G. Bailen. The sides focused on the development of cooperation in trade and economic, agricultural, scientific and technical areas. Specific steps were outlined to intensify contacts at various levels in the bilateral format and within international organisations.

During the meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Colombia to the Republic of Belarus, Hector Isidro Arenas Neira, the parties discussed prospective plans to develop political dialogue, trade and economic cooperation, and expand the legal framework of bilateral relations. The interlocutors reaffirmed their readiness to intensify contacts both within the foreign ministries and business communities of the two countries.
